We are currently looking for a front-end dev.

Davélo is a dynamic and forward-thinking cycling retailer focused on delivering the highest quality of service in the cycling industry. We are dedicated to creating exceptional digital experiences for our clients, and we're looking for a skilled Front-End Developer to join our talented team.

Location: Davélo, 930 Rue de Courcelle, Montréal
Schedule: Temps-Partiel ou Temps-Plein
Days of week: Monday to Friday
Start date: February 2024

As a Front-End Developer at Davélo, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user interfaces for our eCommerce. You will work closely with the design and development teams to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring an optimal user experience.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UI/UX performance.

Option 1 (Experience):
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

OR


Option 2 (Education):
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field in a Canadian university.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Passion for staying updated on emerging technologies in front-end development.
• Any relevant coursework, projects, or internships in web development is a plus.

• Experience with Symphony and proficiency in Twig (1.0, 2.0, 3.0).
• Passion for cycling and an understanding of the cycling community.
• Strong writing and oral proficiency in English and French.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada.

• Hybrid work model with 80% remote work flexibility.
