    We are currently looking for a bike mechanic!

    With years of experience in the bicycle industry and an immense passion for the sport, Davélo focuses on providing superior customer service, meeting the individual needs of a diverse cycling clientele.

  • Workplace: Davélo, 930 Rue de Courcelle, Montréal

    Schedule: Full-time, 35 to 40 hours per week

    Days of work: Tuesday to Saturday, subject to change depending on the season

    Salary: Minimum $18 per hour, adjustable according to experience

    Experience: 2 years minimum as a bike mechanic

    Start date: January 2024

  • Conditions of employment:

    - Very good knowledge of bicycle mechanics and the bicycle industry (bicycles, components, accessories) and comfortable assembling, maintaining and repairing customers' bicycles.

    - Highly motivated and resourceful

    - Enjoys working with the public!

    - Bilingual (French and English), English imperative.

    - Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

  • Location: Davélo, 930 Rue de Courcelle, Montréal
    Schedule: Temps-Partiel ou Temps-Plein
    Days of week: Monday to Friday
    Start date: February 2024

  • Position Overview:

    As a Front-End Developer at Davélo, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user interfaces for our eCommerce. You will work closely with the design and development teams to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring an optimal user experience.

      Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into responsive and interactive user interfaces.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UI/UX performance.

  • Qualifications:
        Option 1 (Experience):
      • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in front-end development.
      • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
      • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

      OR

        Option 2 (Education):
      • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field in a Canadian university.
      • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Passion for staying updated on emerging technologies in front-end development.
      • Any relevant coursework, projects, or internships in web development is a plus.

  • Additional Assets:
    • Experience with Symphony and proficiency in Twig (1.0, 2.0, 3.0).
    • Passion for cycling and an understanding of the cycling community.
    • Strong writing and oral proficiency in English and French.
    • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada.

  • Work Arrangement:
    • Hybrid work model with 80% remote work flexibility.
